{"id":1836,"date":"2018-06-06T14:26:14","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T12:26:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ccomptes.dz\/?page_id=1836"},"modified":"2018-06-17T12:40:38","modified_gmt":"2018-06-17T10:40:38","slug":"headquarters-of-the-court-of-auditors-algiers","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ccomptes.dz\/en\/headquarters-of-the-court-of-auditors-algiers\/","title":{"rendered":"Headquarters of the Court of Auditors, Algiers"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row css_animation=\u201dfadeInLeft\u201d el_class=\u201dcdc-inner-container\u201d][vc_column][vc_row_inner equal_height=\u201dyes\u201d el_class=\u201dst1-p\u201d][vc_column_inner width=\u201d1\/4\u2033][vc_single_image image=\u201d20\u2033 alignment=\u201dcenter\u201d][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=\u201d3\/4\u2033][vc_column_text css_animation=\u201dfadeInRight\u201d]Headquarters of the Court of Auditors, Algiers<\/p>\n<p>The court of auditors by Article 190 of the 1976 Constitution and provided for by Articles 160 of the 1989 Constitution and 170 of the 1996 Constitution, the Court of Auditors was established \u00a0to a posteriori audit of public finances.<\/p>\n<p>The new 2016 constitution enshrines the independence of the institution in Article 192, strengthens its role in the area of \u200b\u200bauditing public finances and gives it the\u00a0task\u00a0of\u00a0contributing to the development of good governance of public finances and the promotion of transparency in public management.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner el_class=\u201dcdc-bloc-2\u2033][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text css_animation=\u201dfadeInLeft\u201d]<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">The Court of Auditors was established in 1980 and is governed, respectively, to:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">\u2013 Law n\u00b080-05 of 1 March 1980 which granted it administrative and jurisdictional powers to exercise overall control over the communities, institutions, companies and bodies that manage or benefit from public funds regardless their status.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">\u2013 Law n\u00b090-32 of 4 December 1990, which abolished its jurisdictional powers and excluded its administrative, powers the audit of public enterprises and public undertakings and the public industrial and commercial\u00a0undertakings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Currently, the Court of Auditors is governed by Ordinance n\u00b095-20 of 17 July 1995, amended and supplemented by Ordinance n\u00b010-02 of August 26th, 2010.
