Training in English

During the first quarter of 2017, English-language training contracts have been renewed at Intensive Learning Center at Algiers University 1.

Three groups are currently undergoing training, two of which are at the «pre-intermediate level», comprised of 23 learners and one at the Advanced level, consisting of 11 learners. In addition, other judges and auditors have undergone a level test that allows them to be ranked in order to start training in this language.

During the last quarter of 2017, a new contract for training in English at the elementary level was concluded with the Intensive Learning Center at the University of Algiers for the training of 18 learners following the level test carried out in April 2017.

  • Workshop on minimum diligence held from October 9th to 10th, 2017

A workshop on minimum diligence was held from 09th to 10th  October 2017 in the courtroom of the institution, led by Mr. Roberto SHMIDT, Chief Counselor to the French Court of Auditors .The first day brought together 14 judges from the 1st , 2nd, 4th , and 5th Chamber. The second day was attended by the Presidents of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 7th Chamber, CTA, CT of Blida, CT of Tlemcen, CT of Constantine, as well as the Presidents of the 2nd section, 3rd Chamber, CTTO and CT of Annaba.

  • One week training on «fraud in public procurement»

One week training on «fraud in public procurement» was held at the level of the ISGP As part of the national awareness and anti-corruption program, led by Organ for the Prevention and Fight against Corruption. For this reason, twenty-one (21) judges and financial auditors benefited from this training during the period from October 08th to November 30th, 2017.

  • Seminar on «international standards of audit of public finances relating to integrity»

The Court of auditors attended a seminar held by the general control to the army circle of Bouzaréah army on December 11th, 2017, on the subject « international standards of audit of public finances relating to integrity ». For this occasion two interventions were made by two Presidents of Chamber, in this case Ms. Fadhila BOUGUERRA (8th Chamber) and Mr. Mohamed AMMOUCHE.

  • Conference on «the new paradigm of the Algerian economy growth: between strengths and bottlenecks»

Within the framework of «conferences of the Court of Auditors», to establish a culture of sharing knowledge and experience and opening up to the outside world, the Court of Auditors on December 26th, 2017 held a scientific meeting on ” «the new paradigm of the Algerian economy growth: between strengths and bottlenecks»: The guest of the Court of Auditors for its first seminar is Mr. Mustapha MEKIDECHE economist and Vice President of the national economic and social Council (CNES).

In order to benefit from this moment, all officials in charge of entities and bodies of the institution were invited to the seminar, as well as four judges by control structure. The seminar brought together more than 60 judges. It was enhanced by the presence of the President of the Court of Auditors, as well as all the management of the headquarters of the institution.

The seminar was an opportunity to discuss in depth the problem of growth in Algeria through the strengths and weaknesses of the Algerian economy, in which the rate of economic growth is largely required in line with economic circumstances. At the end of the conference, a large and contradictory discussion began with the participants on the subject. They greatly appreciated the intervention of the speaker.

On the sidelines of this conference, the President of the Court of Auditors announced that in implementation of its strategic plan, the Court of Auditors intended to open up more on the outside world.
